The PFR-1750V Two Set Points with UPC-FR Universal Power Cell delivers a complete, high-sensitivity true power protection and monitoring solution for variable frequency drive applications across the widest range of motor types and industrial environments. Combining the fast response overload protection of the PFR-1750 with the full versatility of the UPC-FR Power Cell, this package detects overloads, jams, obstructions, sudden load changes, loss of load, missing tools, and misplaced parts the instant they develop — responding faster than conventional current-based protection and triggering alarms or automatic shutdowns before equipment damage occurs. The included UPC-FR Universal Power Cell brings an ultra-fast 0.050 second response time, adjustable full-scale capacity, and a built-in power supply — sensing true motor power across fixed frequency, variable frequency, single phase, and DC motors without modification. With dual analog outputs — both 4–20mA and 0–10V — and adjustable response time, the UPC-FR feeds accurate, real-time power data directly into existing control systems, SCADA platforms, and data historians for continuous monitoring alongside active protection. Two independent set points configurable for either high or low trip conditions give engineers precise, flexible protection tuned to their specific application — whether monitoring conveyors, mixers, material handling equipment, or other VFD-driven industrial motors where fast, reliable protection is non-negotiable.
