Monitoring true motor power by sensing volts x amps x power factor rather than current alone, the ROC-50V delivers far greater sensitivity than conventional protection — tripping when it detects a significant change in average motor load, catching developing fault conditions that fixed-threshold controls miss entirely. The Rate set point limits sudden increases in load regardless of total load level, while the Max set point limits total load — providing dual-layer protection against both rapid load spikes and sustained overloads before equipment damage occurs. The included UPC-FR Universal Power Cell brings an ultra-fast 0.050 second response time, adjustable full-scale capacity, and a built-in power supply — sensing true motor power across fixed frequency, variable frequency, single phase, and DC motors without modification, with dual analog outputs of both 4–20mA and 0–10V for seamless integration with existing control systems, SCADA platforms, and data historians. With a built-in digital load display and three reset options — manual, remote, and automatic — the ROC-50V delivers comprehensive, flexible rate-of-change protection for VFD-driven motors across conveyors, mixers, pumps, and other industrial applications where rapid load change detection is critical.
